Moodmage Privacy Policy

Account data includes your email and identifiers from Apple or Google sign-in. Passwords are processed and hashed by Amazon Cognito; Moodmage cannot read them.

Profile data may include your display name, gender, birth date, birth time, and chosen animal. Content includes mood, energy, sleep, emotions, needs, journal text, future letters, saved items, and content created or selected for you.

We store subscription status and transaction identifiers supplied by the store. We do not collect location, contacts, photos, or microphone data; use advertising SDKs; or sell personal data.

We use data to provide journals, calendars, charts, recaps, deterministic content selection, crisis-support resources, account access, subscriptions, and service operations. Active Bestie Plan subscribers may receive personalized AI content.

For active Bestie Plan subscribers, Moodmage may send the minimum data needed to OpenAI or Google Gemini APIs to create comfort letters, personal readings, numerology and Tu Vi forecasts, monthly narratives, or expanded daily facts.

Comfort letters may use check-in text and recent emotional trends, but not email or birth date. Readings and forecasts use facts derived from birth details, but not journal text. Monthly narratives use dates, main emotions, and mood levels, but not journal text, name, or birth date. Daily facts use public historical facts only.

API data is handled under the providers' business policies and is not used to train their general models.

Data is stored on Amazon Web Services in Singapore (ap-southeast-1) until you delete your account. Deleting your account in the app removes account-linked data from the operating system.

Amazon Web Services provides hosting, storage, and authentication. OpenAI or Google provides AI generation described above. Apple and Google support sign-in and subscription payments. YouTube plays music you choose.

Moodmage is not a medical, diagnostic, therapy, or emergency service. Comfort and divination content is for reflection and entertainment. In immediate danger in Vietnam, call 115; children can call the national helpline at 111.

You can view stored content in the app, export a JSON copy, delete your account and data, or contact us for help with a data request.

Moodmage is intended for people aged 18 or older and does not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age.
